《无声的风铃》The Silent Chime

《无声的风铃》The Silent Chime

蓝天下的朵朵花儿
在风里是无声的风铃
而我那被召唤的心
以为自己是蝴蝶

The blossoms under the blue blue sky
are the silent chime in the wind
and my heart who has been called
thought herself as a butterfly

  1. What a simple and beautiful line of poetry.

    • Dear Chris,

The complexity is disguised in the simplicity of the words. Lately I have found that I could correlate words simultaneously to many things in life, after one and another impact from events that have happened to me for the last three years. These things happen to everyone, but I took every opportunity as a lesson for myself.

Here I imagine the flowers are bulbs that are translucent under the sunlight, move in synchronization in the wind, touch each other like the chimes, but without giving out the sound. But strangely, the words silent chime in fact invoke the sound of chime in my mind, it is the sound that charms for our soul. I imagine someone is calling me through this charm, and the beauty of the flowers, can only be fully appreciated only if we can become a butterfly ourselves.

      Thank you.
