《回忆的颜色》The Color of Memory

《回忆的颜色》The Color of Memory

回忆里和妳一起的快乐
像凋谢了的花的血红颜色在时间里流失

The happiness with you in the memory
has withered like flower with its red bleeding through time

  1. There are many different shades of red. I love playing with a color wheel when working with a graphics program. So many choices.
So with memories. Some are vivid red and and seem to last a life time. Then red may fade off into a shade called Pig Pink. Reminds me of memories of being a little bulgy in the waist line. Not a good memory at all. 😦

    • I guess silly is also a subset to craziness, and we need to be crazy enough to create something out of common sense🙂. I have been playing with this writing whole day long, shorten it from six verses to only two. It is a lot of pain to make something simple, but if I read the original version, then it would be really an indescribable pain for me. I am still trying painfully to simplify many things in life, to left with the important one, with the happiness.🙂. I guess just try to talk silly as well.

      • “I guess just try to talk silly as well.”

You will only ever be silly when you can do it without trying.
Now go to your room, close the door and practice. 🙂

      • That’s true, I need to practice until it has become the natural way like the kids do. lol

No, I have become an adult =) that I did not realise myself!

  2. Color is such a beautiful construct to frame our feelings and our lives. I liked your interpretation of red… our lifeblood. Makes me what color our tears are… or our smiles… Beautiful post! Thank you! x RL

    • I like to create ‘dimensions’ in my writing, and by linking visualization to senses is something I like to do. I like photography too, I often think about how to amplify a message (not just conveying) through simple framing, and with the least element in the frame that can create such effect. I have not thoroughly understood my own thinking, that’s why it is good if I spend something to explain to the reader what and how I am thinking. Writing is a process to understand myself too.

Glad to have your comment as well🙂.

      Thank you.

      • Thank you KC – yes – I agree both the writing and the photography can be very cathartic. I’ve discovered the same thing… very much enjoyed your post!🙂 RL
